Donations

We Want Your Donations!

We accept donations Monday - Saturday from 10am- 4pm.
Please adhere to the following general guidelines:
-items must be fit for resale
- items must not need repair or significant cleaning
We reserve the right to reject any goods at any time, according to our needs. Items that we cannot sell or recycle end up in landfills which impacts us and the environment in ways that are not conducive to our goals!

Generally, we will accept the following:

Clothing and Shoes- new or gently used
Furniture- Clean, unstained & in good repair, no rips or tears
Linens, pillows, comforters, blankets- clean & gently used
Appliances- small & large, 7 years old or less in 100% working order
TV's & Electronics- 7 years old or less in 100% working order
Books, CDs, DVDs, Videos, Records
Housewares, Knick Knacks, Lamps
Camera and Photographic Equipment
Tools- any types
Artwork & Picture Frames
Toys & Games
Antiques and Collectibles of all kinds
Macintosh computers- 3 years old or newer, every component in working order
PC's- min specs; Pentium 4, 1.7 Ghz, 256MB Ram, 20GB HD, Windows XP, every component in working order
Computer Peripherals- LCD monitors, inkjet or laser printers only, 2 years or newer
Sporting Goods
Fine Jewelry & Furs
Musical Instruments
Holiday Goods
Building Materials, Supplies, & Lighting
Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinets
Plumbing & Electrical Supplies
Dollies & Furniture Movers
Display cabinets & mannequins
Doors & Windows(no hollow core doors, windows must be double pane, wood or vinyl frames only)

We cannot accept the following items:

Used Lumber
Opened Paint or Stains
Chemicals of any kind
Propane or Butane Tanks
Waterbeds or waterbed frames
OEM Hanging Lamps (the original ones that came with your house)
900 MHZ Cordless Phones

Please call or email us before you bring items if you have questions about them.

Pickups and Deliveries

We will gladly pick up your donations, typically on Friday or Saturday. Please call so that we schedule a convenient pick-up time. Please bag or box small items; small loose items will be left behind.

We pick up from main floors, front porches and garages. We generally do not pick up from basements or from locations that require our workers to negotiate stairs. Apartment pickups from other than main floors MUST have an elevator.

Please do not leave any donations except during regular store hours. We are not a dumping site: items that we cannot sell in the store cost us money to recycle, and constitute a health and safety issue for us and our neighbors.

We offer a delivery service for a basic fee of $25 minimum. We charge a $50 minimum for delivering pianos and other heavy items, and items that are to be placed on any level other than the main level.
